Our Philosophy

Impact Interior Design Solutions understands that moving is a stressful experience. In fact, a domestic move is always cited as one of the most stressful events a family or individual can experience.  From pack-up to move-in, our extensive menu of services can help make your home transition smooth and stress-free. And because nothing is more inconvenient than having to keep your house in pristine condition while it’s being shown, staging can eliminate one of the biggest stressors of a home sale by reducing your time in-market from several long, stressful months to a few short weeks.

Dale Carlson

Dale developed his aesthetic sensibilities while studying fine art at Michigan State University and graphic design at Lansing Community College in the 1990s. Looking to expand his knowledge of the Detroit metro area’s multifaceted real estate industry, he began working with Impact Interior Designs as a general laborer in early 2010. After a full year of working on numerous assignments with our team, Dale’s creative input has grown to become as invaluable an asset as his muscle.

Dale’s extensive experience in the arts of photography, illustration and graphic design provide a unique combination of creative perspectives. His knowledge of local real estate markets and trends is augmented by 3 years of experience in residential real estate appraisal, with a focus on communities in Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties. Dale continues to develop his repertoire of interior design skills through close work with our team of designers, and by taking part in our company’s design apprenticeship.

In the coming year, Dale hopes to further establish interior design as a permanent fixture in his arsenal of artistic pursuits.

She is an experienced seamstress, creating custom drapes, curtains, pillows and other interior accessories and finishes.  She has staged several homes for real estate investors in her home town of Westland.
